Jane Russell dies at 89

Jane Russell, a Hollywood actress who was among the biggest stars in the 1940s and 1950s, died on Monday at her home in Santa Maria, California. She was 89.

According to her daughter-in-law, Etta Waterfield, Russell died of a respiratory-related illness.

Russell was discovered by Howard Hughes in 1940 and was cast in the movie “The Outlaw.” Her motion picture debut was a success, so she went on to appear in more projects opposite much-sought-after actors like Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra.

Golden-age Hollywood actress and pin-up girl Jane Russell -- who starred in Howard Hughes' "The Outlaw" in 1943 -- has died.
Russell also played Calamity Jane in 1948 alongside Bob Hope in "The Paleface" -- and subsequently starred with Marilyn Monroe in the 1953 musical "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes."

So far, no specific cause of death has been reported. Russell was 89.

Debbie Reynolds Revealed Her Love Triangle to Oprah

Debbie Reynolds:"Singin 'in the Rain" singer Debbie Reynolds appeared on Oprah on Tuesday with her daughter, actress Carrie Fisher Star Wars.
Hollywood icon has been talked about many things during the Oprah show, including her husband, Eddie Fisher, Elizabeth Taylor and her second husband, millionaire Harry Karl. When it comes to Harry Charles, Reynolds showed that manicurists and hairdressers often from their home to take care of her husband were in fact prostitutes.
She said: "While they were working, they just doubled the duty, I knew nothing about it because I thought manicures (even if) I was wondering why it took so long .."
When the case was a love triangle, Reynolds, Fisher & Taylor, she said she was forgiven Elizabeth Taylor. Many people describe Reynold case of a love triangle like the old version of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Anniston version.
"He went to New York for a job, but I knew that Monkey Business," Reynolds noted.
She was also in town, so he tried calling his hotel room.
"I called his room and he was not there. So I called the Elizabeth House. Eddie is an invitation, "said Oprah. "So then I heard Elizabeth saying," Who is it, dear? "I said, 'Would you just roll and put Elizabeth on the phone? "So he did. She would not say. He rolled out of bed and [a] home."
