Bengals owner Mike Brown hasn't always endeared himself with the team's fanbase on issues ranging from a head coaching hire in Dave Shula that eventually resulted in Boomer Esiason's departure. The disastrous seasons from 1991-2002 is fresh, gnawing in the back of our minds that if it could happen once, it could happen again. Refusing to deal Chad Ochocinco several years ago that could have resulted in a first round pick and, at the very least, a conditional third round selection.
