WEST HOLLYWOOD -- Mark Landon, the adopted son of the late actor Michael Landon, has been found dead.
Landon's body was found in his home in the 1300 block of North Sweetzer Avenue around noon, according to Deputy Lillian Peck of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.
Sheriff's investigators were sent to investigate the circumstances of the death, but Peck added there is no indication of foul play at this time.
The 60-year old Landon was adopted in 1956 at the age of 7 by Michael Landon and his then wife Dodie Levy-Fraser.
The oldest of Michael Landon's nine children, Mark Landon, appeared in three movies, including "Us," which was written and directed by his father in 1991.
Michael Landon died in 1991 of cancer.
